The Haughton Green Dog Training Club was founded in 1979 by Chris Freer and some friends who felt that more people could benefit from the help and guidance they could offer in obedience training their dogs. Although classes were available, these tended to be far afield and had more of a basis in show training.

We are a not-for-profit, community group who are absolutely passionate about giving owners the correct tools to be able to create a successful relationship with their dogs at all stages of their dogs' lives to overcome difficulties and, as a result, produce healthy and well-balanced animals.
